Privacy at Orrique
Your journal is personal.
Orrique keeps your fragrance journal private, with on-device storage, optional private iCloud sync, and no ads or tracking.

How Orrique treats your data
Use Orrique without a separate account. Choose On This Device for local-only storage, or private iCloud Sync through your Apple Account. Either choice keeps a copy on your device.
The practical details
How each service uses data
Some optional features need an internet connection. Here is what they use and where you can find the details.
| Your journal | Stored on the device. Setup recommends optional iCloud Sync, which also uses CloudKit under your Apple Account. |
|---|---|
| Support messages | Handled through the help center or in-app support so the team can reply to you. |
| Automatic weather | Optional. If Apple Weather is unavailable, Orrique sends Open-Meteo only an approximate two-decimal area, not your precise coordinate. Open-Meteo may keep API logs containing that area and the request IP address for up to 90 days. |
| Other online features | Shared catalog data, support, contributions, and subscription checks use only the information needed for that action. Contributions are optional, and the full policy explains each service. |
| Advertising | No ads, no third-party advertising trackers, and no selling your fragrance taste. |
| Export | Your collection and diary can be exported so the journal is not locked in. |
